I took this photo of Cabo Sao Vicente- the most southwesterly point of Europe- when I was fortunate enough to sail from Cascais down to the Algarve on the guy whose SB20 I used to race on´s Dufour 34.

The photo on which the painting was based was, however, not mine and published in a newspaper. I don´t remember who took it so I cannot credit them- apologies.
