The privileged orography of the Maresme region means that, climbing any of its hills, you can enjoy exceptional views.
I have sketched these views dozens of times and I will never get tired of them.
Today I did it from the Serra Road in Teià. In the foreground is the Rials Valley, between Teià and Alella, which, after decades of litigation, was definitively protected from the onslaught of urban development in 2018.
Vineyards dedicated to producing the wines of the D.O. Alella are currently the majority crops in the valley.
Although I went there early in the morning, it was very hot. So I decided to make a very quick sketch, only with colour blobs and without any previous line.
