Surpris par la nuit.
I was caught by dusk hurrying to complete the painting of a river in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. I like to paint there in the winter. The forest by the river banks of mostly pine trees and red cedars retain green hues in abundance. Colors that are missing in the hibernal Mid-Atlantic landscape.
