This was inspired by a beautiful wave set breaking on the beach in Malibu. I painted this in May of 2017 with various soft pastels on 12"x16" sanded paper.
"I love the bright yellow color pops of the succulent flowers in the foreground and the sand was a lovely contrasting gold and violet. That topped off by the indigo and turquoise surf was just a beautiful sight. I hope you enjoy!"
