Roseberry Topping

Roseberry Topping is a hill located in the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire. Its distinctive shape is the result of a mining collapse in 1912 and a geological fault. It is sometimes compared to the Matterhorn because of this shape.
Its a short but steep climb through woodland to the base of the hill from the car park at Newton under Roseberry. Its an even steeper climb to the top of the 320m high hill!
