In the summer I usually go to the beach every morning to make a pastel or two. A small one (15 x 15 cm) and preferably a bigger one (32 x 50 cm). I use Sennelier Pastel paper in different colors, depending on the atmosphere. I try to capture the temperature, windspeed and movement of the clouds, rather than making a realistic picture.
