The House of Dogs in Apaseo el Grande, Gto. Also known as (Herrera's Palace, Casa Grande or Casa del Aguila) considered an architectural symbol of the city. Built between 1780 and 1789 in a civil Baroque style. An architectural jewel with columns of lobed arches and fine stone ornaments, the interior still preserves a part of Baroque style wallpaper. Built for Don Francisco Herrera, thus the name (Palace of Herrera) The name of the dog house, was given by the town due to the sculptures of two dogs guarding the main entrance.
