I couldn’t resist painting this family reading just a few feet from me. They arrived after us and sat there, so I really thought they wanted to be painted. They were facing the sun and not the ocean, reading a good book and chatting. I truly enjoy painting figures and I find it difficult to find models, most of the time I don’t dare painting. I find that the more I paint someone, the more beautiful he or she becomes. Behind them the ocean was rolling lazy waves, people were surfing and enjoying the sunset. Size about 16 inches wide.
