Old Farmhouse, Innisfil

I visited this old farmhouse in Innisfil, Ontario. It was a hot sunny day and the sun's warm embrace cast a golden glow on everything around, setting the perfect scene for my artistic adventure. With the owner's gracious permission, we embarked on a painting expedition to this charming site, with a gentle reminder to tread lightly so as not to disturb the owner's dogs. As I approached the abandoned farmhouse, nature had gracefully taken over, weaving a tapestry of wildflowers and weeds that harmoniously coexisted with the decaying structure. Time seemed to slow down as I carefully analyzed every nuance of the farmhouse, the play of light and shadows, and the mesmerizing interplay of nature reclaiming its space. Back in my studio, I brought the essence of that sunlit day to life, adding the final touches to my work.
