This painting was done from a photo that was published in a newspaper- but I don´t know who took it -apologies for not being able to name them. I am not sure whether that renders this painting ineligible for the competition.

The photo is of me with my sailing coach- the great Mr Jose Tavares- around where the ocean often looks like in the painting. It was an enormous priviledge - and an honour- to learn to sail from Mr Tavares. My sailing days with him were "days of gold."
