This lake is now privately owned but still accessible to the general public. It is a favourite picnic spot. The lake is out of bounds for bathing but full of ducks, terrapins, and - at the right time of the year- tadpoles.
Be careful if you take your dog. Sometimes there is a stray black dog that must belong to one of the houses nearby around that can be a bit aggressive.
