The little islets under the Malabar cliff are surrounded with the most pure and blue water. It takes half an hour from my home to climb up the Northern Hills to Malabar. The painting is not fully finished but this is my first plein air attempt here on Lord Howe Island. I have used acrylic paints this time. Usually I am working with oils.
