Born in Istanbul. Formally trained as a management engineer, informally trained as a painter (self educated). Admirer of Carolus-Duran and his teaching methods focusing on value relation. Impressionism couldn't leave my country even long after its heyday, because of the way Sun lights everything. Rendering the effects of light on forms is my passion.
