I was born in 1980 in the town of Edessa in Macedonia Greece. I studied fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Since my graduation I have made numerous works on walls, canvases, t-shirts, swimming pools and furniture in different shapes and sizes and under different circumstances. The latest years I focus on canvases and I feel attracted from impressionism with surrealistic tendencies. I try to represent Santorini, where I live, in a way that the co-existence of matter and space is subconsciously evident, underlying in this way the impermanence of things in life. I also try to give the impression of dreamlike to my works expressing my views about the dreamlike nature of the world and the way it is represented in the human mind and brain. A world recognized as real but in reality unreal, liquid, flowing, ever-changing, dying and re-constructed in every moment and beyond ordinary ways of seeing it. This is why I like to use disanalogies, asymmetries, distortions, paradox combinations of space and form and intense colors. This way I keep on expressing my emotions and my ideas through art as an internal need without a cause and I try to evolve as a person and as an artist shaping and be shaped by art.
