My love of color, light, and form along with the spontaneous energy of watercolor is the stimulus for my paintings. I am passionate about my art and like to explore new processes and materials when creating making every painting a learning experience.
As an instructor of college and K - 12 grades I am constantly being challenged by my students to explain processes and materials in new and different ways. Researching new techniques and materials for demonstration keeps art fun and challenging.
