Begoña Summers Born in Madrid in 1973.
Daughter of the architect Carlos Summers Dal-Ré and grandaughter of the painter SERNY (Ricardo Summers Isern).
Her work is present in private collections throughtout Spain, France, Great Britain, Austria and Luxemburg.
Her work is also represented in the Museum of Drawings of the Castle of Larres in Sabiñánigo (Huesca, Spain).
Begoña Summers is included in the Dictionary of Painters and Sculptors of the XXth Century, edited by Forum Artis, in 1998. Since the year 2005, she holds a Ph.d in Fine Arts awarded by the Madrid State University (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
Throughout her career, she has held more than a dozen individual exhibitions both in Spain and abroad (Madrid, Paris).
She was selected in several occasions to the Prize Award of Drawing Penagos competition and held accesit awards in 2 occasions in the Duran Painting Prize, Madrid.
Begoña Summers has also been distinguished with the Paular Scholarship in Segovia, Spain (1997) and was selected to participate in the “Pebeo Art Contest” competition celebrated in Marseille (France) the same year.
In 1993, she painted a mural for the competition of open air mural “Las Ventas” that was exposed in Madrid´s Bullring Plaza, Spain.
