My name is Athina Soultani and I am an artist from Athens, Greece. I work with all media such as graphite pencils, colored pencils, soft pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oils and Inks. I paint with many techniques such as mixed techniques and some specific techniques with coffee and wine. I have attended classes taught by many award winning Greek and English teachers. I hope in the future to have similar career as they have. This year I participated for the first time in a joint exhibition at Psiri area, Athens, Greece where I presented Graphite pencils sketches from Europe, especially from Italy and England, Venice, Arno River in Florence and one neighborhood in London. The concept of my art is to pass a positive message for a better world. It is important to give people hope for a better, more peaceful world without violence, murders and a better quality of life without the stress of the modern people. Art is always a way of expressing myself and passing the message that in these difficult years we can achieve more as individuals and as nations, if we truly believe in ourselves.
