From I-70 take the Dotsero exit and go north off the roundabout, on Eagle Co. Rd. 301, about 6 miles to Sweetwater Road, then about 10 miles up to the lake. Spectacular cliffs and beautiful fall colors from the Gambel's Oak and Aspen trees.
